I've been listening to 50's and 60's love ballads playlists the past couple of days and I realize .... we (born in '48) were subliminally conditioned to really attempt to love our girlfriends/boyfriends and to feel bad about common love/life tragedies

I'll meditate on this some more, but I think THAT may be the missing element in the American social structure today

I lament the absence of Norman Rockwell and HIS influence and maybe the teenage music of the time was/is an element I would like to bring back
