Really? Threats and intimidation based on prejudice are a serious issue on college campuses - precisely for this reason.
There is a point where a school is manifestly known as for fools, and there is no point in trying to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
So yes, really.
I mean, I don’t oppose SOME level of effort. There are organizations like FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights in Academia). They can help schools with a few trouble cases do what they may have wanted to but lacked the courage. But if Caesar has to climb all over the school to get it to do what it manifestly does not want to do as a whole... odds are that the effort is in vain and it will rebel in some other way and if there are any honest students left they are wise to go elsewhere.
