Look at the folks protesting Trump, it’s straight out of the Red Guards, all that’s missing is them carrying Mao’s Little Red Book.

"They learned almost everything they knew from Mao's "Little Red Book," a collection of his sayings that became a fetish object among Chinese youth." Available on Amazon:

"This is the little blue book that right-wing partisans love to hate. Printed in a size that easily fits into pocket or purse, POCKET OBAMA is an anthology of quotations borrowed from Barack Obama's speeches and writings, intended to keep the momentum going for those inspired by his message of hope and change"

It was during the Cultural Revolution that I became a fan of conservatism and William F. Buckley, Jr.
Still have my copy of “Quotations From Chairman Bill” (1970).

I remember my chinese family members stories of those years; how the older males would rush in and frantically start destroying nice furniture (in a way that could be fixed) as the Red Guards marched down the street, dragging people out and beating or killing them because their possessions were too nice. If that happens here there will be a lot of dead red guards lying around.

When I go to Việt Nam, Hey Pops, you old fart! gets on the airplane.
In Sài Gòn Revered Grandfather debarks.
I rather like it. When I comment on something or suggest there is a better way, people listen and follow through I have been told more than once, "You have lived longer and seen more than I have, what do you think about this?"

This gives the impression Mao’s Cultural Revolution was a “ground-up” movement. No, it was directed from Beijing, from Mao and mainly “the Gang of 4” and their lackeys in the Party structure.
No difference from Obama. His Dept. of Justice meets and gives instruction to his own Red Guards - groups like #BLM (and also CAIR). Some are out on the streets rioting, but others are working levers of media and law to keep the population confused and destabilized - and thus attack their opponents.
