Sony Pictures needs to keep male moviegoers interested in its Ghostbusters reboot after an Internet attack on its female cast. Hillary Clinton wants women to throw their support behind her presidential campaign.
In a strange confluence, those agendas risk colliding this week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

” after an Internet attack on its female cast”
After how people saw that the movie SUCKED based on the trailer.
But the little SW idiot likely knows that the movie doesn’t look that great already.
This awesome publicity shot is an indication of how amazing the new #Ghostbusters is.
"I ain't afraid of no chemo."
'Simon Says' is a prime example of how early in their development young girls are indoctrinated into obeying anything a man tells them to do
If you think 'enjoying' a film is more important than the empowerment that film gives to women, you just might be a misogynist #Ghostbusters
Well, misogynist it is!!
Why do people continue to feed the Morally Bankrupt Hollywood in the first place?. Hollywood as a whole is against just about everything that is American.
#kissmybutt-godfrey
We used to call it a “take your medicine movie”, when social engineering preempted entertainment.
I won’t waste my time with this crap.
I won’t waste my time with this crap.
Are these the new Ghostbusters girls?
Not sure I recognize any of them?
Based on initial word of mouth and internet chatter, this movie is not going to do well, and will not launch them to stardom.
Off topic, but never understood, why does Hollywood feel the need to remake and reboot movies and TV shows, which were fine in their original versions????? Are they lazy in Hollywood, and/or feel the need nowadays, to make sure entertainment has an explicit liberal political statement contained therein????
Take a good premise (remaking a hugely successful movie) and politicize it by making sure everyone knows the cast is all female, like we wouldn’t figure that out on our own. Then, double down by trying to make headlines by putting the cast on the Ellen show with Hillary.
Sounds like a perfect recipe for cutting about 75% of your ticket sales potential before the movie is even in the can. Brilliant! They must have been consulting with the Target CEO at a secret getaway in Hershey, PA.
You’re wife’s a big foot gus.
$150 million down the toilet. Well, I guess it provided jobs for a few people for a while... So it’s about the same efficiency as a government job program.
They dont get it. Its not that the Ghostbusters are women its that they are NOT FUNNY. Sorry I just dont think this movie looks good, no matter what gender the stars are. Perhaps some better writing or acting would make it better. Special effects look great, though!
The idea may not have been bad but the casting was terrible and who knows about the writing. Would bet it is too PC to watch. So I will pass on this Turkey.
++++++++++++
iron lady was obviously the sequel to iron man. not as successful bc misogyny.
The problem is there are few real actors and actresses in Hollywood any more. What passes for talent out there is very Dim and Pale compared to years ago, and I mean many years ago.
I could pick four female stars from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s that had more talent and were really good at playing anything that would be better than what is out there today. That woman from Mike & Molly just ain’t it!!!!!
I hate everything about it
the humor, the females, and the special effects
