Fremont Burglary Suspect Who Entered Fumigated Home Dies
FREMONT (CBS SF) — A burglar who was caught on video breaking into and stealing from a home being fumigated with a hazardous chemical collapsed and later died after leaving the property, police said.
The apartment building located in the 39800 block of Fremont Boulevard was being fumigated for bed bugs and was covered with a tent.
The residents shared the surveillance footage from the camera they purchased just days earlier out of fear one of the fumigation workers might steal from them. What they wound up seeing was even more shocking.

Here putting a tent on the house is like putting up a sign......break in. People have been renting/borrowing trailers and parking them in the driveway or in front so they don’t have to leave their house at the mercy of thieves.

I had ants in my laptop last year and put it in a plastic bag overnight with a paper towel soaked in Raid.

Raid just makes bedbugs mad.

It was sarcasm. I watched the video and he had an inadequate respirator on. Just a step above the mask in the pic I posted.

No, that’s why I only put the paper towel sprayed with Raid in the bag — I didn’t want to actually get oils onto the computer parts — the fumes from the paper towel placed outside the clamshell and suffocation in the knotted bag did the trick.
