About picking a darkhorse (can I say that?) at the Dem Convention. Can you imagine the spit storm that will erupt if Bernie, who campaigned his heart out and amassed a heckuva following, and actually won delegates is bypassed?
They couldn’t resurrect Ronald the Magnificent and get away with that.

I agree. they either nominate the one D candidate who’s campaigned and thus earned the nomination (Bernie the Red) ... and he has a tremendous following for having done so, too........or else they nominate someone acceptable to Bernie and his followers (which means, for sure, NOT Hillary the Liar).
I am not a politics expert and do not know who they might select. CERTAINLY they either nominate Bernie or else they will have someone that Bernie can go up on stage and say, I support Joe Beefcake The Third, or whomever.
They do NOT want to flush their entire ticket down Hilary’s toilet.
The dream scenario will be if Shrillary is dumped for one reason or another, and then Bernie is bypassed by the ‘Rat establishment!! Watch the party be torn apart .... would they really dare to force aside Bernie?? ha..
