Stop erosion, drainage and all rivers and streams that feed into the ocean and you stop sea level rise. The Mississippi river alone dumps 500 million metric tons of sediment a year into the Gulf of Mexico.
Another good idea, grow crops instead, pump all that water to the deserts in the west.
