why is it that Tillamook cheese still costs $4.99 for a 2# loaf ON SALE when I used to be able to buy it for $2.99 on sale?.......
Why is it that Ford Mustangs cost over $20k when I used to be able to buy one for $2,368 NOT on sale.
In the last few years even 24 slices of Kraft Deli Deluxe American (1 pound) have gone from $3.99 to $5.99 at my local grocer. I wish this cheese glut would reverse that price trend.
I haven’t seen any cheap cheese.....or meat or poultry.
That $2.99 was one hell of a long time ago.
Those prices are called a “loss leader” by the way. I have been told that the cheese factory cannot make the cheese for those prices.
