Now it does make sense-she has some dragon-like attributes or is somehow protected by the dragons she hatched?
She had the property of being Unburnt before she had the dragons. In some first episode foreshadowing, she was having some servants prepare a bath for her. They warned “oh, don’t go in it’s too hot,” but she ignored them. Only later did it make sense that it really was too hot. For a normal person.
Her family once ruled the land by using dragons to conquer, but was eventually deposed when her father, the “mad king” was challenged. He used to like to burn his enemies. That’s part of the backstory to the series.
Fortunately, no real Republicans or conservatives were harmed when Trumpborn burned the GOPee building.
