Two big problems I see with this study are CO2 is not a "greenhouse gas" and the Earth is an open system receiving tons of new matter and energy annually.

Without CO2 plants would die and then all animal life would die. My guess is that that is the left's true agenda: kill all life on Earth.

They will not succeed.

seems to suggest that it was heat that caused the carbon dioxide spikes during past climate cycles rather than carbon dioxide that caused the heat spikes in the previous climate swings.

Methane Hydrate is a peculiar substance, in that the methane gas from decomposition combines in a physical (not chemical) bond, in which HUGE volumes of methane are absorbed between the interstices between water molecules, and this a stable conformation as long at the water temperature remains below about 42 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the temperature rises above that point, the methane hydrate goes through a phase change, reverting to water and the gaseous form of methane.

In ocean depths, the temperature of the water never goes above about 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and it remains stable.

If there were a way to recover this HUGE reservoir of methane from ocean depths, it would be a near inexhaustible energy supply, as there is from 4 to 10 times as much energy in this methane hydrate, than in all the coal, oil, and natural gas trapped in the earth’s crust. Once the technology is worked out, the recovery could lead to one of the cheapest energy supply sources the world has ever known.

And conversion of all this potential energy to useful applications, would propel prosperity to a level that today is unimaginable.

And not prosperity for just a few at the top. It would be the greatest and most equitable distribution of wealth, ever.

At the end of the last ice age, when the Antarctic sea ice decreased again, the westerly winds returned to the south and the ocean circulation picked up speed again, the deep water enriched with carbon reached the surface of the sea.

Sounds like the planet was warming according to that sentence. But then he says...

"The water then released large amounts of the stored carbon in the form of old carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and thus significantly accelerated the warming of the planet," says Thomas Ronge.

Logic is not Tommy Boy's thang.

...and then everything died from Global Warming. The End.

Here’s the “global warming is causing global cooling” argument again.

Previous model studies indicate, however, that this ratio may reverse in the coming centuries.

Fraud Alert!!
I found this thread mildly interesting until I realized it was totally based on "computer modeling."

The usual bullshit.
Garbage in, garbage out.
