Poor grammar from TV. I will use it in a joking manner, once in awhile.
And in the gangsta talk. I actually heard a ridiculous pronunciation of “buttons” on ABC about 6 months ago. Astonishing. I think it comes from a “children’s book” that intentionally teaches it that way. Incredible.
Gee... I can’t even imagine there are two ways to pronounce, “buttons”. Things that make you go, “Hmmmmm”.
