I actually listened to most of Dana's rant, and it boils down to this: "We have our club, and you haven't paid your dues so you can't join us!". It is classic GOPee, and it is definitely NOT Conservative, as in rule-of-law, no-respecter-of-persons Conservative. But the Progressives have taken over "conservative" and made it their own.

Good thing Donald Trump has come along to bust down the establishment walls and gated communities!

That my friend is probably the closest thing to true anyone has posted. It is the progressive's routine to infiltrate and corrupt everything they deem as a threat. The quick rise and active nature of the tea party had to scare the bejeebers out of the left. To attack it, the left produced Occupy, but it wasn't genuine so more was needed. With the Teaparty being mostly a leaderless grassroots movement it presented a perfect opportunity for leadership and "guidance" by the professional subversives. What a convenient way to present themselves as "conservative" and destroy the burgeoning movement from within.
