eah, it’s like they all have to wear a uniform now. Cowboy hat, button down shirt, jeans, cowboy boots. Like the glam acts with spandex, make up and scarves. I would actually take the old glam metal stuff over new country for sure, music wise anyhow.
I have been saying for more than 20 years that modern country music is just rock and roll with a twang. Horrible stuff...now if I am going to listen to a litle country I like that “Crying in your Beer” type of country...If I want rock and roll country then I listen to Flying Burrito Brothers or Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen...more authentic than today’s country music in my humble opinion...
Oh yeah, it’s either old country for me or obscure stuff. This new country is like tasteless pablum, just no edge whatsoever and not much to differentiate between one awful act and another. It’s really become a caricature of itself, at least from the little I have unfortunately exposed myself to by accident.
