Well...for some reason it comes across as smarmy with Cruz.
I’m not even sure if smarmy is the right word...but it just isn’t effective.
But then, I don’t listen to Rush, I’m at work when he is on but I also don’t care that much about what he says. I don’t need him to tell me what to think.
Rush doesn’t tell us what to think. I rarely disagree with him. However, I don’t mind missing his broadcast, as it is repetitious in many situations. He can only go so far without risking his sponsors.
