To: Southside_Chicago_Republican

A 1956 Buick Special was the first car I remember my Dad having. From NJ, we traveled all the way out West and across Canada in it. Had it all the way until 1964 when he got a 1965 Buick Le Sabre which I never really liked. I was not old enough to drive the ‘56 before it disappeared one day!

Yep. One of the disappointments of my youth. When I was five or six, the neighbor on the other side had a fire engine red 1958 Buick Special convertible. He was my pal and took me for a ride. I remember that day like it was yesterday. It was the first time I had seen a car with an air conditioner.
