You misspelled Ted Cruz.
Yes he did. It's L-O-S-E-R
If you even entertain the idea of voting for Hillary you were never a conservative or even a Republican.
I don't know about you, 2DV, but I sure am glad we've entered a new phase.
I wish Ted Cruz well, and I hope those who were against Trump can start to think more positively about him and realize that he's not in this for his ego.
Think about it. Trump is taking a huge risk with his brand. I don't think he wants to go down being hated for being a bad President, after having such a successful life in the private sector.
I think Trump loves his country, is in this for the right reasons, and truly wants to make America great again.
All I'm asking anyone is to give him the benefit of the doubt through next January.
As for Ted Cruz, I take back everything bad I ever said about the man.
Well, anyway, but seriously, I think and venture to guess that Cruz learned some important lessons in this race. I really do think that he left the path of his own best judgement at some point, when he decided to go so negative on Donald Trump. Once someone reaches frontrunner status, Machiavellian tactics can often backfire.
Also, you were being such an effective propagandist for Ted Cruz (I say that with no animosity, you were simply "doing your job" as a concerned citizen, employee, or whatever) that people like myself felt it incumbent to act as counter-propagandists.
When I use the word propaganda in this context, I'm using it neutrally. Propaganda can be and often is used to spread positive ideas. So the word doesn't automatically have a negative connotation in all cases.
So, I hope you don't take anything I posted personally (if you noticed it at all). I'm sure plenty of it was harsh and "unfair". But that's the nature of "spin wars", and obviously many of the articles you posted left something to be desired as far as fairness or balance.
So I don't consider you an enemy, and I hope you can bring yourself to feel the same way, and to give our presumptive nominee, who is admittedly a flawed (but intrinsically decent) man a chance, because I think the potential is here for revolutionary change. The good kind; nothing which harms the Constitution.
Indeed, hopefully we will get back to the Constitution, and hopefully President Trump (if he makes it that far) will put all the right People in all the right places.
So congratulations on fighting so hard for Ted, and for doing it with the class that many others didn't display.
FReegards,
Sargon
Do you really think that (Cruz as VP) could be in the cards, after all the acrimony?
Do you think Ted Cruz would accept?
Would someone like you want that?
I have to admit that, from a purely theoretical standpoint, they would be a strong ticket.
We'll see how much mutual forgiveness and apologies are possible.
Politics is a brutal sport...
I would advise him to take a woman CEO of a large corporation.
If you’re going to run as an outsider, then run as an outsider.
Let's face it Vet, only sociopaths like Cruz. No one would support that ticket and it will never even enter into Trump's mind after Cruz called him "Evil."
