Not sure how the hydraulic part worked.

Lots of Union work back then, Masons, laborers,

But in the end.. If the wind blows the wrong way? What then?

Good heavens, I never heard of such a thing before. Using channeled wind to pump water from underground aquifers in the desert, a couple of centuries BC in a culture that didn't even have writing.

A culture that couldn't have even *been* a culture unless they first installed the technology. Think of that.

This type of irrigation canal are common in the Middle East. I find it interesting that similar problems find similar solutions.
