I recently had the opportunity to fly in the first class section.
First class on a Dreamliner from Houston to Frisco, That was really cool, then First Business class from Frisco To Beijing.
It was a great way to travel, 13 hours in coach would have left me basically crippled.
Couldn’t afford it personally, but it was actually an enjoyable flight for a change.
The fact is, most people flying first class domestically are rewarded those tickets for being frequent fliers. That just means they live on airplanes several days per week.
I am a “big guy”, but not so big I can not keep all my person in my seat, but I digress. The difference for me personally between coach and business on long international flights is beyond dramatic. In coach, you can’t wait for the flight to end and suffer like a dog whole way. In business class, you never want it to end, blissful comfort and space, no waiting for the clean bathrooms, and more than enough drinks and food basically anytime you want. However within the USA, unless to Hawaii, I could care less, there is hardly any difference.
