I have a friend at work who has about a half dozen backyard chickens. He says they’re hilarious. He says sometimes he and his wife will just sit on the porch and watch them. Every now and then he’ll bring me a few eggs, which are delicious with deep orangey yolks.
Yes we sit on the deck every evening and have a drink and we cook out a lot. We just watch the hens scratching around. Highly entertaining.
