Thought I'd tune into Rush to see if there was any weekend news I'd missed.

You conspiracy people always amaze me
I don’t know what conservatism is any more, because what I thought was conservatism doesn’t seem to come close to what some of the conservatives on this site have recently been promoting.
Gosh, this sounds so much like liberal-speak, it’s scary.
Trump’s foreign policy and official positions on 2nd Amendment, religions freedom, the military, immigration, borders and national sovereignty, abortion, education and numerous other issues are very conservative. But since people like George Will are “conservative”, the word “conservative” has no meaning any more. It’s just another lable that really means a flavor of “elitist insider political class”.
At this point, no matter who Rush prefers, he should get behind the inevitable nominee, and not keep cheering on a guy who is toast. He’s always done that in the past, but he seems unable to do so now. He just can’t betray his GOPe masters. It’s sad to hear. None of these people will ever have credibility again after this election.

Well one thing I DO KNOW for sure is that Rush is A BUNCH more conservative than Trump ever will dream about being and that is why I will continue to happily listen to him and will vote for Trump ONLY because Hillary is worse.

I think that Rush is being eminently fair to both Cruz and Trump. As one who could vote either way, I think he does a very good job of backing both of them against unfair criticism. He also is an equal opportunity criticizer of both.
Anyone who says that he is overtly for one or the other just sees what they want to see (as Rush himself has mentioned many times).

So why do you suppose that by stating what you did that both sides have attacked each other that I as a Cruz supporter am intimidated by people like you? If you are afraid of a opposing view to yours by me , someone closer to your view than not, how will your candidate fair against hitlery?
I simple poi ted out that Sargons post goes both ways and backed mine up with actual posts. What I would like to see out of this is unsolicited posts like Sargons attacking other members who are closer to Trump supporters views.
By posting things like he did he is driving away other conservatives who Trump needs if he is the nominee.

Back when I supported both Trump and Cruz, I once posted a that listening to Rush is like the weather in Indiana in the springtime.
If you don’t like it, just wait 15 minutes.
The Cruz supporters here had a cow! What was a completely neutral comment got me called every name in their TDS arsenal. You’d have thought I stole the Golden EIB microphone and beat Ted Cruz to death with it. Not a single “Trumpist” said a thing about it.
So, I have no sympathy for those who feel they are being treated unfairly here.
