It was Bob Dole in 1996 running against Clinton. Bob Dole is partially disabled as a result of war injuries.
Someone sabotaged the railing and removed the screws. When Dole grabbed the railing it gave way and Dole fell off the stage.
None of the reporters or photographers standing next to Dole tried to help him. The photographers kept taking pictures.
I had no idea that was a sabotage! That is awful!!
Terrible. Never knew that, about the screws being removed from the railing.
