Why hasn’t their insurance company came off their policy [cancelled it]? Could they be self insured?
It is my guess that the Target liability policy excludes coverage for illegal acts. It is patently illegal to allow men in a women’s toilet area because it violates the indecency laws !! You can’t go in there— I don’t care how screwed up your brain is!! Insurance will exclude overage for company policies that are illegal. No insurance. Imagine if the company policy was that a Moslem could kill a Christian if found inside their store— NO INSURANCE!!
From my understanding, many large big-box stores are self insured.
