I hope she becomes an extremely successful Conservative economist.

(No, I won’t be holding my breath)

Daddy’s President and probably paying full freight. Like a lot of celebrities who go to college, they’re not going to be denied.

“Merit”, when referring to getting into Harvard, does not have a single, easily defined meaning.

A lot of students there are AMAZING PEOPLE. When I interview them, sometimes I think they should be interviewing me.

But, Harvard is a big and incredibly successful business as well, and they are always looking for an edge. Malia Obama is an investment by Harvard in their future, and, as such, how smart she is or what she’s accomplished is meaningless.

My husband graduated from Harvard and interviews applicants as an alumni. I would be very interested to see her extracurricular activities. There are a lot of students with high grades and SAT scores, so to whittle the applicants out they look at extracurricular activities. You have to be an all star at something. When I mean all star- Yo Yo Ma and Bill Gates were in my husbands class. My husband received a very very distinguished award in high school, and that is how he got in. What did Malia do?

They're probably paying her to go there so they can brag about having the president's daughter.

As a whole how many Harvard students get in on merit? And how many get in through connections?
