I’m a white woman who resented younger women coming in late and leaving early because of children.
Guess who did their work? The rest of us.

The arrogance of some people annoys me, and I don’t mean you.
Yes, it was a real problem in offices. Of course, there were responsible women who had young children who put in a full day’s work since they were collecting a full paycheck. But some of the other ones were complete shysters. I suspect some of them even got pregnant for the paycheck and the perks. No office manager/boss dared to speak up to these users.
I described a scenario where nobody (including the childless women) was working any extra time; they just resented their poor choices in life - and it got worse as they aged (and co-workers added grandchildren).
