Most of the storylines on NFL Draft night are typically about players realizing their lifelong dreams of playing professional football. But even though he was selected 13th overall by the Miami Dolphins, offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil found himself at the center of headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The Ole Miss lineman first sparked buzz when a video of him smoking an unknown substance out of a gas mask was posted to his official Twitter account just prior to the drafts start. After teams were made aware of the video, Tunsil didnt deny that it was him featured in the video, but also claimed that it wasnt recorded recently and that his account was hacked.
That would only prove to be the beginning, as Tunsils Instagram account was also apparently later hacked. Photos were posted that depicted alleged conversations between Tunsil and at least one member of the Ole Miss coaching staff about an exchange of money to help the guard pay personal bills. Obviously, under the NCAAs strict guidelines, players are not allowed to accept money or gifts from coaches.

What’s going in Oxford?
A red flag to his potential employer; another Manziel, maybe?

“Are you my mummy?”
Idiot young man.
Forget that. What's going on in Miami? After all the garbage they've had over the past few years, they still used a first round pick on this guy.
Wait a minute there is the racist Confederate Battle flag on the wall!! I would think Mr. Tunsil would want a safe space to smoke his weed.
Wow, that’s an obscure “Dr. Who” reference.
Well played!

The earrings bother me more than the mask! At least his head and neck aren’t all ‘too’d up.
The rest of the SEC has been asking that for several years. What’s the sudden attraction for the top players they are getting???
Somewhere Dan Mullen is smiling
shocked, SHOCKED!
but seriously folks, now HIGH SCHOOLS are now paying football players. As long as people like us continue to watch football on television (and I don’t pla
Private High Schools in Nashville relocate star players, and then get the players’ parents jobs, often as employees of the churches of the members of the schools’ boards of trust.
Have to admit, that Instagram post about the conversation with one of the assistants about money was pretty damning stuff. Seemed to indicate that there is a “process” in Oxford for getting “assistance” to players.
At least he has enough honor not to deny it’s him in the video. We all do stupid and regrettable stuff when we’re young.
“Strict NCAA guidelines” - yeah, riiiight!
