I see the videos of the military men and women coming back home and their dogs going crazy in happiness and all I can think is “This is wonderful but I get almost the same response when I get home from the supermarket”.

Happy dogs are happy dogs and mine is as happy as it gets. Literally tries to claw through the door, jumping up and down whenever I get home (she’s part springer spainel :) )

Makes you wonder doesn’t it? How can they steal our hearts so completely with just one look?
All seven of my boys and girls are pound puppies; all it took was JUST THAT ONE LOOK.
My wife says I am not allowed to go to the animal (so called) shelter any more.
I kind of agree, I am getting old enough now to worry about checking out befor my boys and girls.
Lost my Old Jack this last December 30th, expect my Honey Bunny only has another year or two with me, not sure that I can take the pain and loss any more.
