Why not take the kids?
One doesn’t expect a political rally to be a high-risk-of- injury situation normally.
I’ve been to one political rally in my life-—before I had kids.
It was for JFK,in Boston, the night before the election in 1960.
It was so jammed and I thought we would get trampled.
I avoid things like that—and would never take a child near one.
.
You're obviously not aware of the new "normal."
For quite a few years, now.
