Indiana is pretty conservative. I remember how pissed those people were when they actually voted for Obama the first time around.

In 2008 they had that picture of the US where someone colored in the winning states with paint.

I about fell out of my chair when they painted Indiana blue.

About the craziest thing I've ever seen in politics.

I lived in Indiana for 11 years.

Mostly in a medium sized town. Even their DEMOCRATS are more "conservative" than the average republican.

I lived in Mike Pence's district.

Believe me, there was no way in hell that gay marriage would pass there.
