K-9 alerting needs to be ruled insufficient evidence for probable cause. "Probable" means "more likely than not".
Police depts need to keep statistics on K-9 "alerting", versus drugs actually found. A K-9 who's alarms do not work out more than 50% of the time shall no longer be "PROBABLE" cause.

K-9 alerting needs to be ruled insufficient evidence for probable cause. That's why I say that everyone should keep an open bag of dog treats in their car. If nothing else, it's reasonable doubt that the dog "alerted" to the bacon!
