Been since 2009 for a Pens-Caps series.
A chilly 40 on the way to 80 today. An excuse to try out the seat warmer on my new car. There are three settings, which is one more than in my wife’s car. My old car had none, which was one of the things I really wanted. I’m getting old. LOL
I love the seat warmer, better than a heating pad if your back is sore!
we are here, for now. I don’t expect it to last. the bile rises in my throat reading those threads. reduced to a fricking echo chamber. SAD!
yes, 2009, and the personnel on both sides is quite a bit different. I have to say that annoys me more than anything, when I read about how THE CAPS choke, and THE CAPS do this in playoffs etc. The CAPS are made up of individuals, the majority of whom were not around for any of the vaunted history that is bandied about. The make up of this team is pretty darn good. Sure they can lose, but it will be as a result of their own mistakes, not some curse or HISTORY of the franchise, that causes that to happen.
and as stupid as it is, I have the space heater on bc it’s freezing in here, but due to go up to 80 today here too.
and xshub’s car has seat COOLERs too! mine does not.

I got basically everything I had in the old car, except the chilled glove box, which is a ridiculous thing to have anyway. Never used it. And a cargo cover, which I may just buy separately.
I’ve gained a power driver’s seat, heated front seats and an automatic dimming mirror. Also one foot in length and about 20 cubic feet of storage. And the city mpg rating is one higher, and that is most of my driving.
My heater is on under my desk, too.
no dates announced yet. Can’t be Friday bc Justin BIEBER is at the Verizon center. I think they are waiting for the last games to be decided, think Chicago plays tonight. Think they want to keep them in sync.
Don’t forget, your team now has the best coach in the league and has forged all the parts into a machine - that never breaks ;).

it is weird the way they did the seeding. Doesn’t seem that #s 1 and 2 should be playing in the second round. Not sure what the thinking was with how they did this.
I traded in my Sportage for a Sorento over the weekend.
I got a signed Pittsburgh Dad candle over the weekend for her. Maybe we should double-or-nothing over it.

They are trying to re-create the fun of the good old days, like when the Pens won their Cups in 91 and 92. You had to win your division. Then play the other division champ for the conference.
With two wildcards from the same division it throws chaos into it if they upset the #1 team from that division. Now, conceivably, the Islanders could win the Adams division.
poor Flower! I do feel bad for him. I am sure Orpik wants to be up and running to go after his former team, recuperating after Philly attempted to scramble his brains. Both he and Niskanen personally told me that they LOVE beating the penguins. It gets their dander up. They are two of my fave caps, my own personal “penguins” ; )

did I tell you the chiro is having a drawing during the playoffs. you get tickets if you wear red, say lets go caps, wear a jersey, bring in a referral etc. I’m amassing quite a few! i go weekly anyway, to keep the periformis in check, so i make sure i have the jersey with me in the car to throw on before i walk in. last week i took xsbaby with me bc her neck was bothering her. I asked the receptionist if anyone else was doing it [bc i have not seen any other jersey wearers in the waiting room} and she said, yeah, but you def have the most tickets! LOL!
