With our ability to scan down to the cellular level, I’ve always wondered why an Alzheimer’s treatment or cure hasn’t been developed by now. I’m a complete layman, but it seems like a scan of someone before onset of the condition, and then after it has developed, would show SOME element missing or perhaps introduced that is causing the symptoms.
Few diseases will ever be reversed — it would result in less income for the pharmaceutical industry.
