Norway's minister of migration and integration has sparked outrage after floating in the Mediterranean Sea in an orange survival suit to experience being rescued from a refugee's "perspective."
Sylvi Listhaug, a Progress Party member known for her hard-line stance on immigration, travelled to the Greek island of Lesbos to familiarise herself with the rescue work carried out by Norwegian vessel Peter Henry von Koss.

Actually Ms. Listhaug is the Immigration Minister and a member of the very conservative FrP, Liberals hate her has she has proposed some of the strictest immigration laws in Europe.
Why did she do this in such a failed way? What does she even accomplish by “walking in their step,” even if she didn’t use a special suit?
It would be like me trying to empathize with a newborn baby by putting on a hazmat suit and climbing through discarded placentas from the dark bottom of a dumpster holding them, into the sunlight by pushing up on its lid, then admitting this action didn’t really give me the real feeling of being born.
That is completely stupid.
