That would require actually believing a solidly conservative platform.
I think most people realize Trump is not a conservative ideologically. He identifies more with the party that is slightly more conservative, though he apparently despises some of its more socially conservative platform planks.
On the other hand, he may actually govern conservatively on issues where he promised to do so.
He promised to defund abortion.
He promised to build a wall and stop illegal immigration.
He promised to negotiate trade deals that actually favor America.
His supporters should have demanded he take similar positions on taxes, health care, religious freedom, and a number of other issues.
As it stands, his supporters do not care what Trump says or does. They imagine he will do the right thing.
On some things he probably will. On some he almost certainly will not. But loyalty to him must not be questioned.
