Whoever is going to be the nominee has to get to 1237. If neither gets there before the convention, it will be decided at the convention. Delegates who are bound to a particular candidate on the first ballot—whether for Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, et al.—may become unbound on the second ballot, free to vote for whomever they think will be the best nominee to represent the party. That’s how party conventions work. Nothing new or nefarious about it. May the best man win.

That’s all you cruzards can do is regurgitate your stupid rules ad nauseum to rationalize theft. Let me give you some facts.

If the distant 2nd place finisher, or anyone else wins the nomination they will be viewed as cheats. That’s what the polls show.

Such an individual will lose the general in a landslide and I’ll be cheering as I watch.
