The 105mm gun would be fairly ineffective against US, NATO, or Russian tanks...the Iranians obviously know this, so they must not have a ground war with the west in mind.
The side skirts look very thin - offering almost zero protection. As a side note, legend has it that the inventor of Chobham armor (the staple of US tanks) initially tried to market it to Iran, with no success.
The mobile AA gun looks more effective. They can shoot and scoot in a hurry...probably even hide them underground near their nuke sites.
Iran will probably start buying nicer toys, now that Barry released a gazillion dollars of assets.
I noticed the side skirts were scalloped, must have to
change the wheels out with some regularity.
Iraqis and Syrians still have a lot of T0-54/55’s in service.
