I hate fallacious pop ups.
I think.
LIKE.
I don’t know what people loved about 10. I finally got used to 8.1 and then went to 10. I would have preferred staying with 8.1.
LOL!
I just jumped into Win 10 from XP and all I can say is Win 10 is common core computing...
I tried Windows 10 and went back to Windows 7.
I like Windows 10 other than the automatic updates.....worlds better than Win 8
Like the cleverly disguised come on re your controllers needing updates and trying to force you into buying the updates on a new computer.
When the windows piece of crap earps it’s guts up I’m buying a used Apple!!!
I'm gonna grind it out until Cortana says, "Dave what are you doing?" :)
We run Win7 at work. We are FORBIDDEN to install Win10. Thank goodness!
Lyin’ Ten
Look Dave, I can see you’re really upset about this. I honestly think you ought to sit down calmly, take a stress pill, and think things over.
It's good to keep Win10 in a Lock Box.
Same here, sport.
When I installed Win-10, it would not let me update other apps, or install new software. Couldn’t get to the Windows store (or whatever it was called).
Most arrogant damn software ever written. Microsoft started out self-centered and egotistical. They’ve only gotten worse.
Someone else on the string noted this as common core software...quite right.
Big Brother software, protecting us from ourselves...BS!
click on the warning and set the settings you want
It’s the daily “I’m old and don’t understand scary computers” thread
Not me! We didn't just sit around when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor... aaah! :)
I switched the new drive out and put the old on in, intentionally to try out Windows 10.
One word: AWFUL!
I like the classic (XP) style, but all the new Win10 has is the modern crap. Window frames were very thin and difficult to recognize when windows overlapped. Slidebars were to thin the mouse pointer had trouble latching onto them. I have hated the ribbon menus since it was introduced around Win8 or so.
It didn't take me long to switch the hard drives and back to Win7. Even now, when I want to do some ‘real’ computing with Word or Excel, I load the old XP ‘97 version because I can find the functions I want. The new ribbon menus are clumsy, gaudy, inefficient and in some programs take up 1/3 of the screen real estate. They are even worse on my laptop.
I am staying with Win7 as long as possible. However, I have noticed some ‘entities’ are requiring browser/program updates and will not work with the Windows 7 versions.
