Part of Trump’s political problem is that he repulses major portions of not just one but two wings of the Republican party: the very conservative/social conservative wing and the Rockefeller Republican/GOPe wing. His path to victory is to thread his way through and energize the middle of the Party, plus draw in enough independents and conservative Democrats to make up the shortfall. He may accomplish this, but it is a narrow path and I doubt that he succeeds.
