Our forecasters can’t seem to even get the weather forecast for today correct so it always amazes me that they think they can forecast weather for many months out.

... or model the climate. Their “models” turn out to have no predictive power — in other words, they’re not good models.
That’s why they have to scream “CONSENSUS!!! NO MORE DISCUSSION!!! CASE CLOSED!!!” so loudly; they can’t stand on their own science.
And that we’d be stupid enough to bet the farm (our livelihood and prosperity and what is left of it) on their predictions.
