>> Cruz can’t win. Period. He has absolutely NO appeal outside of a very narrow segment of conservatives. He’ll get no support from anyone else. Hillary will win a 49-50 state landslide. <<

Well, Trump, Roger Stone, Drudge, Breitbart, the National Enquirer, etc. have pulled Cruz’s numbers down considerably, but he still is in a statistical dead heat in most polls with Hillary. Trump, meanwhile, loses by double digits. So the electability issue is a bizarre one for Trump supporters to be using.

And yes, Trump’s repeated claims that “lots of polls” show him with a “yuge” lead over Hillary Clinton are just simply, flat-out lies.

First of all, with respect to "double digits", you're behind the times, because there was a recent "hypothetical matchup" poll which showed a neck-and-neck race between Trump and Hillary.

But that's beside the point, because all such "push polls", 7 months out, before the conventions, no matter who is "ahead", are total garbage, and they are known to be ball everyone in the industry.

They are intended to manipulate public opinion, as opposed to reporting on it.

They are "boob bait for bubbas". The same polls back in 1980 had Reagan 25 points behind Carter at this juncture.

Knowing this, you choose to cite them as if they have have some relevance to who is actually a viable general election candidate?

It's ludicrous to base one's vote upon such clumsy and feeble propaganda.

Now, as for Cruz's numbers being pulled down: what about all the other news organizations which hammer at Donald Trump in a totally slanted way 24/7/365?

To pretend that Cruz's media treatment has been harsh, versus Trump's, is patently absurd. Cruz has been treated like a veritable snowflake thus far!

Whether it's popular vote, key states, voter enthusiasm, outside status, or demographic factors, Ted Cruz just can't get it done.

And Donald Trump will at least try...
