I am so glad that Melania insisted that Baron stay off the stage. I can see why a cartoonist would think of organ grinders and monkeys. But, Ted and Heidi Cruz will make a great Presidential team! Go Ted and Heidi!

Message to all the fathers out there.
There is nothing more important than the confidence that a father can gives to his girls (daughters). So important for the girls to feel the love of the men in their life.
This is from Heidi Cruz. A mother. And a managing director for a major investment bank. I’m sure she would agree that it applies also to the boys (sons) in a family.
Let this sink in to the multitudes of absentee fathers and/or part-time fathers. Your family needs you to man up! And your country needs you to man up as well.
Bravo to Mrs. Cruz for saying this on national television. Sad to say, but it was necessary.

There is no reason to zot. Put on your big boy pants. This is now Trump country, no more whining.
The eldest had fun with it. Mom tried to coach them but kids are kids. I couldn’t imagine being as calm as the Cruz’ were back when my kids were that age.
There were some wonderful moments with the two girls just being themselves. Seeing Ted just being a dad when the spotlight was on his was nice.
Heidi is a very strong personality and reminded me of my wife.
CNN did good with these family town hall presentations. It did look like the girls were cold, lighting technology sure has come a long way. The last time I did anything on a stage like that I was baking hot.
I actually wish I had watched the Kasich and Trump versions.
