Just one sentence?
George Washington warned about political parties.
And foreign entanglements.
But later came lesser men who thought they were wiser and proved themselves fools and jackasses.
No, they wouldn't.
(Been saying this for decades already ....)
So the system isn’t rigged?
Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin made headlines in 2012 by claiming the five finalists in the Miss USA pageant had been pre-selected.
Rigged beauty pageants or wrestling tournaments don’t damage the lives of citizens. A rigged political system does.
Everything in this country is rigged, all the way down.
How do we know that?
Hillary Clinton is not behind bars and is instead running for President.
Why is the supposed opposition party, the GOP, allowing that to stand with no apparent pushback?
Now what middle class person could be so lucky?
Not luck, it is rigged.
Take Colorado, for example. Voters in Colorado didn't get to vote in a primary or a caucus because the state's Republican Party executive committee decided last summer not to hold any presidential preference vote. Instead, voters had to gather at far-flung, time-consuming conventions to choose individual delegates.
Why wasn't there a caucus with a presidential vote, as Colorado had held in previous years? Because this time the Republican National Committee had ordered states to bind their delegates to actually vote in line with voters' presidential preference. Colorado Republicans didn't want to do that, so they got rid of the presidential vote.
That is, the purpose of Colorado's rule change was explicitly antidemocratic. It took power away from regular voters and handed it to the sort of activists who would be likely to spend a lot of time and energy participating in party conventions.
These were the rules, but they weren't democratic rules.

When Republican operatives are willing to work hand-in-hand with media that DESPISES them to try to tear down Trump, I’d say Trump has a point.
When the Colorado Republican Party changes its rules on delegate selection to prevent Trump from receiving any delegates, I’d say Trump has a point.
Probably lots of other examples...but I’m too lazy to think of them.
The proof is in a hermetically sealed mayonnaise jar stored in a vault inside Funk & Wagnalls.
Hello???
Anybody home??
OF COURSE it’s rigged—you dumbass!
(GOTTA get rid of this here interweb thingy, though.)
Not everything is rigged. Just the things with a lot of money riding on them - like major sports events and the financial markets.
Everything is rigged...... even the Trump / Kelley fight.
Another post to pimp your blog.....DISGUSTING!!!!
Have you no shame?
IBD show look up the word Oligarchy
We actually have one party, aided by the media, pursuing the interests of the Chamber of Commerce and select progressive pressure groups. The Chamber of Commerce has to throw a bone to the special interests groups, once in a while, because these dopes are the foot soldiers for the Chamber of Commerce.
One primary election, namely Colorado, was what brought this to a head. Frankly, I was pissed by how TN selected at large delegates as all of us voted for both regular and at large delegates. It was easy to count the damn votes, but; the RNC did not like the results as Trump won most at large as they declared who they supported on the damn ballot and we (voters) voted. This editor and his since- x therefore all conclusion is a typical journalist who are charter members of the far left and the media in all forms is comprised of the biggest complainers and excuse makers in the America.
The article uses the words “free market”. There are no markets. Everything is rigged.
It is rigged. On both sides of the aisle.
If you’re part of the ruling class that must be alarming, as the spectre of pitchforks and hot lead surely cannot be far behind.
And it’s even worse if it’s true, right?
Um hm.
The article makes a valid point in that Trump’s language goes well beyond criticism of the GOP primary system. He’s essentially mimicking the classist, anti-business rhetoric of the left.
