According to Cruzers, when Trump insulted McCain he insulted ALL POWs. Can’t have it both ways.

You can’t have it both ways, either.
IMO, what Trump said about McCain was a nothing-burger as they say.
However, we know why it’s said he was speaking about all POWs ... it was this:
“I like people who weren’t captured”
He shouldn’t have said it and likely regrets it, as it was taken as a broad statement.
I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt at any rate, as all the candidates have suffered from diarrhea of the mouth at times.
