Wow, I have not heard news of this before. That’s a shame too. They can’t just wait till they are married? Now when they are older, wiser and want children what will they do? This is terrible.
Most kids these days know they will never get married. Marriage is a luxury good today.
By that I mean that most of the lower middle class and below view it as a nice thing to want, but one they couldn’t afford. You lose a lot of benefits by getting married, and women don’t want to do that. WIC, Medicad, and State aid pay very well, much better than a lower wage job.
The system is set up to discourage marriage but reward bastard children.
