Best of 3 series now.
I expect we will see Fleury start.

Well, game 4 was certainly a welcome change from #3. You can't expect to win when you allow 48 shots on your goal (unless you're playing the Caps). The Bolts I've been watching all season returned in game 4 and did a much better job of forechecking and getting the puck on net.
Even though they made it interesting in the third period, they really dominated the game. Even though Vasy is doing solid work in goal, it's pretty clear from the 3rd period last night that they miss Bish.
Let's hope the same team shows up Sunday as I have tickets for Tuesday's game and would love to see them clinch it at home.

You wouldn’t believe it, yesterday, I went into a sports bar and I was calling out, cheering the Penguins on, 2-0, then, 3-0, then, 4-0 and forget it; at least for last night.
No real surprise, the Blues pushed back on the Sharks, that series is dead even.

LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE IN PENSBURGH, AS ADVERTISED!
Enjoy the game in Tampa Tuesday, Mase, when the Bolts win the East.

Thanks. I can't wait to be there. Was there for the fifth game win against Detroit and the Islanders. Looking for the hat trick......!!!
This was one of the most exciting games to watch in a long time and it was one of the worst officiated games in a long time. I'm not much for conspiracies, but it's hard to argue that the league doesn't like the Pens. Maybe the officials just suck, or they had money on the home team winning. Denying the Bolts the 5 on 3 they deserved is about as flagrant as it gets.

I missed the game last night. Went to a concert.
But Pittsburgh is definitely in trouble.
Guess we will be in full “pucker-mode” tomorrow night.

You missed a great game and not because the Bolts won. It was a really good game for both sides, and it was one of the more exciting games I've watched in a long time. Both sides skated well.
This was the first game of the series that I'd say was evenly matched. And that's why I think the series could go 7. Game 6 could easily be another one-sided affair. At least I get to see one more game live. With the Rays and Bucs where they are, the Lightning provide the only excitement.

By the way, I had no idea the Pens had won every game this year where they were ahead after the 2nd period. That is an amazing stat. They are great closers.

I didn’t think the Blues would bounce back and win after game 3;
Now, the Blues lose tonight, I don’t see how they can bounce back and win game 6.
The Blues are putting up a good fight but SJ seems a shade better.
To: BeadCounter
The NHL is on the verge of their biggest nightmare of a Final: Tampa Bay vs. San Jose.
To: dfwgator
Yup. Tampa and San Jose continue to win despite the best efforts of the league. We’ll learn tonight just how far the league will go to achieve their desired ratings.

San Jose finished with 98 points during the year, a few other teams in the West were in the hundreds, so SJ is a tiny bit of a Cinderella team that has gotten hot in the playoffs, the Predators took them to seven, this current one is at least 6, but they certainly are playing well. It isn’t over though yet.
