I don't think these totals are bad considering Cruz was traveling with Scott Walker,

est. % in: 99%

Cruz
527,064 - 48.3%

Trump
383,598 - 35.1%

Kasich
153,514 - 14.1%

Donna,

If Kasich was out of the race would those votes split between Donald and Ted or would Donald have garnered the lions share? It might have tightened that race IMHO.

Let's look at this "defeat", and why "The Establishment" was not going to rack up a loss in WI, for reasons including pride and to stop Trump.

* The State is the home of Speaker Paul Ryan.
* The State is also the home the RNC Chairmen.
* The State is also the home of an embattled Governor who had to win many challenges.

With that all said, obviously a GOP ground game with an establishment flare is alive and well and works in Wisconsin.

I think the thing to ask is, if their ground game is so darn good than why hasn't Prebius try to replicate it in 49 other States?

We sure in h#ll could have used it with that laggard Romney in 2012, that is for dang sure..
