The office Trump is running for is the executive branch not the legislative branch. Cruz has never been an executive. Trump has been one for 4 decades.

Does the President ever have to interact with the Legislative branch? Does Trump have any experience with that? He doesn’t get to use intimidation tactics like you can with people you can fire.
