No that’s not right SeeSharp.

The rebate is not based on income, it’s based on necessity level spending. That is, this nrst has the characteristic that sustenance spending should not be taxed. So my family of four spends $1460 per month on necessities so I would get a $460 monthly rebate.

So you’re wrong, the rebate is not based on income. A lot of people don’t yet fully understand the nature of a consumption tax...we’ve been under income tax our entire lives and it can be hard to imagine anything else.

The rebate is based on family size, irrespective of income!
