As for running off more old/long timers, nobody's being run off. "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the oven" is more like it...
There's one way to figure that out, by identifying who you support with your next contribution. Shouldn't take much work, contributions are identified by state.
When things got stupid here in 2008 and 2012, I simply took a break from here. At no time did I ever feel a need or desire to opus out.
And for those blaming Trump supporters, I suggest they go back to the last few months of 2015 and see just who the hell it was that started making the attacks personal toward other freepers and sometimes libelous toward JR. I was on the receiving end of some of that crap because I supported both Cruz and Trump but I guess I was supposed to hate Trump as much as they do.
But to leave because one simply doesn’t like one of the sources instead of skipping those threads is just plain thin skinned and childish.
