When Sundance replaced Mark Levin in the hearts of so many Freepers, I should have taken the hint. The site has become almost totally partisan. That partisanship is leading to such incredible, slanderous commentary that you would have to look twice to see if you are at FR or DU. We talk about a circular firing squad, and here one pops up. We are destroying our chance to move the ultra left out of the White House by trying to destroy each other.
So finally, sadly, I think it is time for me to go, I don't want to be a part of it anymore. I have mostly enjoyed my time here, it used to be a great place, and I was happy to add what little support I could to keeping it up.
To Jim: please check your mail. I sent you a request to delete my account information, but I guess you haven't seen it yet. Good luck with FR and I hope it survives this election cycle without any real bloodshed.
Mods: Please delete my FR account.
I support Trump but Côte for Cruz and auppoet him for SCOTUS.
The GOPe has them and their supporters in fighting. Divide and conquer.
Rush Malkin Savage Coulter Levin.
All have been attacked for not being pro Trump enough.
hey, publix is second only to wegman’s in my book!
OK. Thanks.
I have toyed the idea of leaving as well but stick it out and just avoid any thread that has to do with Trump or Cruz when I can. It is like one of those shows Real Housewives of Anywhere.

Best Political Reporting:
Conservative Treehouse: The Last Refuge has redefined political analysis with its terrific investigative reporting on the GOP establishment’s “splitter strategy”
Sadly, have to agree.
Too bad, just when some of the tough ladies of FR and were about to give you a participation trophy....just kidding....
Thanks.
Like Ray Stantz said, "...it just popped in there."
And I agree, whats happening now is different from past election cycles.
I agree, 'Liberty & Tyranny' is a good starter book for ages as young as 6th grade, but if your looking for constitutional liberty in action, don't waste your money on Levin's ‘liberty amendments’ book. That one is wrought with error that actually takes away liberty. There are a couple of good constitutional amendments, such as repealing the 17th amendment and congressional term limits, but when Levin wades into the area of constitutional economics & citizenship, he is utterly ignorant.
With all of the R vs. R fighting, the only hope might be for Bernie to win the elected delegate count but have Hillary steal it with DNCe super-delegates leaving the Dems as shattered as the GOP is. It might be interesting to start 2020 with two essentially new parties.
Methinks this next fundraiser may be very telling...
What ever happened to “Sticks and stones may break my bones?”
There is almost nothing but carnage, insanity, and cult of personality hero worship here anymore. Never seen anything like it.
But, I've been here for over a decade and a half. That's too much of an investment to throw away over temporary insanity.
After the "Trump Hangover", FreeRepublic will return to normal. Some former Trump supporters will leave the site in shame, some will stick around. We'll all lick our wounds, and band back together to rail against the Hillary Clinton presidential administration.
Thank you for that advice. I was considering purchasing several more of his books, even though I am a Trump supporter.
Can you get Cruz to quit saying Trump planted the 5 Mistresses story.
Thanks for the perspective, LS.
Some people can't seem to keep a sense of it.
I think it's pretty easy to guess what candidate "jstaff" supported.
Rather than the animating debate we are engaged in on this forum (albeit somewhat lopsided at this point) I'm sure "jstaff" will be able to find a Ted Cruz echo chamber somewhere out there that suits his/her needs, where nobody argues, and it's all just sunshine and rainbows...
If it were face to face, chances are we'd be closer to trial by combat.
Yup, sadly so.
