“All person born or naturalized “IN” the United States, “AND” subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the “State” wherein they “RESIDE”.
So one must be born “IN” the Untied States in one of the 50 “STATES” of the United States for one to be “SUBJECT” to the jurisdiction of the United States.
According to the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 which governed the citizenship of Ted Cruz at birth, Cruz was an alien and when his parents brought him to the United states at the age of 4, he & his father entered the US on non-quota “immigrant” visas.
Ted Cruz = Natural Born Canadian, Naturalized US citizen
